Hello, We’re Ingólfur and Agnieszka

Your hosts at this family-run farm accommodation in the heart of Iceland’s stunning south coast.

Ingólfur was born and raised in this beautiful region and proudly traces his ancestry back to the legendary Viking Egill Skallagrímsson, one of Iceland’s first settlers. Agnieszka comes from the vibrant harbor city of Gdańsk, Poland, in the historic Kashubia region—a unique micro-nation known for its rich cultural heritage.

Our journey together began in 2013 when we met while working at a local hotel. It didn’t take long for us to realize we shared a dream: to create a peaceful escape where guests could experience the charm and serenity of Iceland’s countryside. With that vision in mind, we set out to build our homestead, where we now welcome travelers from around the world to share in the beauty of this special place.

Our goal

As avid travelers, we wanted to share this special place with others. Our goal was simple: to offer guests an authentic taste of Icelandic rural life, with all its unique wonders. From the unspoiled night skies to the local love of hot springs and hot tubs, and of course, the chance to meet our friendly Icelandic sheep and horses—this is the real Iceland we want you to experience.

We strive to provide a peaceful, private retreat in an ideal location, surrounded by some of Iceland’s most breathtaking natural wonders. If you’re someone who loves to travel off the beaten path, enjoys the company of animals, and seeks a truly authentic Icelandic experience, we’d love to welcome you to our little piece of paradise!
